Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Instead of sending Christmas cards FIOH has donated this money to the Christmas Spirit Campaign.

The Christmas Spirit Campaign Hyvä Joulumieli has helped families with children since 1997. The Hyvä Joulumieli gift vouchers will be given to families with children, who are in need due to unemployment, illness, debt, low income or some other kind of crisis.

An expert consultation of peer reviewed WHO assessment models for pesticide use has taken place at FIOH's headquarters in Helsinki.

The draft models were reviewed by experts, and manufacturers were able to present their views during an open session.

As many as 95% of managers with foreign background thought that Finland is a safe and secure country to do business in. Safe and equal work environment, flexible working hours and good work-life balance were listed as strengths of the Finnish working life.
